A150 motorway (Barentin/Écalles-Alix) opened to traffic
March 12, 2015
After completion of the construction works, in January, the section of A150 motorway linking Yvetot and Rouen, in the North of France, was opened to traffic on February 9th and is now fully operational.
The concession agreement signed with the French government, for a period of 55 years (until 2066), covers the financing, the design, the construction and the operation and maintenance of an 18 km dual carriageway motorway linking two existing roads - a section connected to the injunction with A29 at Écalles-Alix near Yvetot, and the Rouen to Barentin section. The construction included a 470-meter bridge, the Austreberthe viaduct.
The infrastructure will be operated in a closed toll road system integrated with other operators and the tolls collected will be the concessionaire’s direct proceeds.
The project was partially funded by subventions from the French government and the Haute Normandie regional authority during the construction.
ALBEA, the concession holder of this section of the A150 motorway, is a special-purpose venture set up by two construction groups, NGE and FAYAT, the InfraVia fund and Société Financière A150 (which is fully owned by TIIC) to manage this concession.
