The Centro Logístico de Leixões (CLL), a consortium that brings together ETE, Edifer and TIIC (Transport Infrastructure Investment Company), submitted a bid to the Port of Leixões Authority (APDL) for the construction, sale and management of Leixões Logistic Platform. The concession period is for 30 years, which can be extended for further 10 years. The platform comprises a total area of 60 hectares, divided in two different sites. These two sites have a distinct profile, being one suited for companies with port operations inside the Port of Leixões and the other more appropriate for logistic companies, given the existence of a road-railway terminal close to the site.

ETE Group, that holds the concession to handle the general cargo and bulk in Leixões, holds a 34% share in the consortium, while Edifer (one of the main Portuguese contractors) and TIIC split in equal parts the remaining 66%.

The bids were due to be submitted on 15 March, however the deadline was postponed to 3 May. The only bid received by APDL was submitted by CLL.

The Banif BI acted as financial adviser to the sponsors with Albuquerque e Associados acting as legal adviser.
