Portuguese Court of Auditors approves Baixo Tejo

The Tribunal da Contas, Portugal's Court of Auditors issued its consent to Baixo Tejo motorway contract. After an initial decision of the court, which had ruled against contracts for the other concessions like the Algarve Litoral, the Litoral Oeste, the Transmontana, the Douro Interior and the Baixo Alentejo, Tribunal de Contas approved Baixo Tejo concession agreement.

Baixo Tejo is the second concession to be approved by Tribunal de Contas, following Douro Interior. AEBT consortium led by Brisa and including Transport Infrastructure Investment Company, Teixeira Duarte, Bento Pedroso, MSF, Lena, Zagope and Alves Ribeiro has completed all the precedent conditions imposed by the financing banks, and therefore the project can be developed as expected.
