Infrastructure has proved to be in the past a key aspect of sustainable development in several countries. Also due to budgetary constraints of governments and public entities, the improvement of infrastructure has been increasingly made with the support of private partners. As result, infrastructure as an investment asset class is becoming more and more widespread across the financial markets.
